ABOUT THE PRODUCTS

DESIGN PRINCIPLES

Each product is born from our own needs as users and a questioning of current solutions. We analyze where they fail, where their functionality can be improved, how to reduce weight, increase durability, or decrease impact.

For us, development means researching, innovating, and field testing, as we seek to create new solutions with the best products, using the best available materials, and having the lowest possible impact. So that your gear is a tool that works when it matters, that lasts, and that looks and feels good.

We believe in functional, aesthetic, and conscious design. Products that earn their place in the mountains and in the market because they truly deserve it.

OUR MATERIALS

XPORE ULTRA®

XPORE ULTRA®

Xpore Ultra® is a 3-layer waterproof and breathable fabric that we use in our Storm 3L Shell waterproof jackets. It uses a microporous structure that blocks water from the outside while allowing vapor to escape from the inside. Its waterproof rating is 25,000 and its breathability rating is 18,000. It is a PFAS-free fabric laminated with 100% recycled nylon, achieving a balance between waterproofing, breathability, and lower environmental impact without compromising durability.
NETPLUS®

NETPLUS®

NetPlus® is nylon made from recycled fishing nets. These fishing nets are collected directly from fishing communities before they end up in landfills. This material is created by Bureo, which started in Talcahuano, Chile, and has now expanded net collection and processing to more than 10 locations worldwide. At Noroc, we use Netplus® Downproof and Windproof fabric to construct the 0C Ecoloft insulated jacket. You can learn more about Netplus and Bureo here.

ECOLOFT FLUFF®

ECOLOFT FLUFF®

Ecoloft Fluff® is a synthetic insulation made from recycled post-consumer polyester, comparable to 550FP down, but which maintains performance even in wet conditions. It allows the construction of thermal layers that are more resistant to intensive use and have a lower impact. We use Ecoloft Fluff® in the 0C Ecoloft jacket to achieve the thermal balance we were looking for, combined with the jacket's weight and packability.
GRID FLEECE

GRID FLEECE

Fleece fabric with a technical grid-structure knit made from 100% recycled polyester. Its channels create micro-chambers that retain heat while facilitating moisture wicking and excess heat dissipation during intense activity. Output fleece uses this fabric to achieve the optimal balance between weight, thermal regulation, and performance in motion.
